In partnership with the Province of Ontario, Business to Bruce is announcing their launch of the Side Gig Program which aims to give aspiring entrepreneurs in Bruce County the training, resources and support needed to grow or start a part time business.

By leveraging the expertise of Fanshawe College and combining practical skills, high-quality training and entrepreneurial insights, the program will cover topics on building a brand, development a customer base and managing the administrative side of entrepreneurship.

Participants will also be given access to coaching and additional support from Business to Bruce.

Manager of Economic Development for the County, Jeffrey Loney, said that the county is pleased to empower individuals to transform their ideas into viable businesses. "Whether it's launching an online store, starting a service-based business, or monetizing a creative skill, the Side Gig Program will help provide the tools and guidance to make it happen," Loney said.

A total of 30 spots are available in the program. Applications close February 17, 2025 and are available at businesstobruce.com/sidegigprogram.
